The Federation of Astronomical Societies is holding its 2022 convention in Oxford next month.
The event is taking place on Saturday, November 12 and the federation is inviting local people to join.
The theme is ‘Women in Astronomy’ and the keynote speaker will be Dame Jocelyn Bell-Burnell, who discovered the first pulsars back in 1967.
For those who attended our October Meeting - you will recall we heard all about this discovery by Jocelyn Bell-Burnell.
How exciting that she will be delivering the keynote speech at this event. Please check out our members area for more discussion about this event.
